Due to strictly enforced site access control restrictions, the snooker club is only open to people affiliated to CERN and holding a valid CERN access card.

Snooker club membership is annual, from 1st January to 31st December. In the interest of flexibility:

  1. Payments from 1st December onwards are treated as membership throughout December and the following year.
  2. Membership will remain active until 31st January in the year following the year of membership. After this date, you will lose access to the club unless you renew your membership.
The membership fee is 100CHF/year and gives you unlimited access to the snooker table (subject to booking availability).

To join:

  1. Please send a membership request to cern-club-snooker-committee@cern.ch.
  2. The payment details will then be communicated to you.
  3. Send a confirmation email to cern-club-snooker-committee@cern.ch once the payment has been made.

Afterwards you will be:

  1. Added to the list of active members.
  2. Provided with the means to access the Snooker club room.
  3. Able to make room bookings via Indico.
